Anti-inflammatory, Anti-Bacterial, Antiseptic, Antifungal, Immune Booster, Candida Fighter, Gastrointenstinal Health - it does everything!

Naturally, wild oregano oil has broad spectrum antibacterial activity, much like an antibiotic drug. This has been demonstrated in multiple test tube studies. For example, it stops the growth of the main bacteria responsible for food poisoning and travellers diarrhoea (E.coli) and a common bacteria involved in many skin infections (S.aureus). It also has antifungal activity and is effective against the yeast Candida albicans which is the fungus responsible for vaginal thrush. The oil has also been used to treat intestinal parasites. This is supported by a human study which found that treatment with an emulsified form of the oil eradicated most of the infectious agents after six weeks.

Due to its many different effects, wild oregano oil has many varied uses. It has been used orally for respiratory infections such as sinusitis and the common cold, allergies, ear infections and arthritis. Sometimes it is applied topically to treat conditions such as acne, athlete’s foot, dandruff and insect bites.

AU$39.95Price
  • Extra virgin olive oil, certified organic oregano oil (Origanum vulgare).

  • 1-5 drops in juice or water 3 times daily. Listen to your body! Some people use Oregano for 6 weeks, other for 12 weeks.

When we take oregano oil we put 3 drops in a shot of water and take it down in one big sip. Don't "swirl" the glass as the oil will stick to the sides and be wasted. If the oil hits your tongue or back of your throat it may tingle for a minute.. drink more water.

When taking Oregano it's important to increase your water intake to atleast 2 litres per day. Also, avoid sugar as sugar feeds candida!!

NOT recommended for children under 2. Topical application only for children over 2. Avoid use if allergic to the mint family of plants. Not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women without the advice of a medical practitioner.
